{"id":1977,"date":"2019-12-23T17:04:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-23T16:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wmt.it\/?page_id=1977"},"modified":"2020-01-27T16:10:52","modified_gmt":"2020-01-27T15:10:52","slug":"filtering-classes","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.wmt.it\/index.php\/en\/filtering-classes\/","title":{"rendered":"Filtering classes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In\n the industrial filtration process usually what is important is that the\n particles dimension present in the coolant are above a requested value \nwithout any questions on: its quantity, the quantity and dimension of \nthe particles smaller than the requested value. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\n that way speaking of filter degree, like the size of the suspended \nsolids present in the coolant, is unusefull if at the requested value \nare not added the maximum quantity of suspended solid for each \ndimensional class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performances of a filtering system should be identified by two values for example 20 \u00b5m with 250 p.p.m. of suspended solids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>W.M.T.\n has made a research, during years, to study and classify the filtering \nindustrial process in order to define the filtering class regarding the \noperation type, the better type of filter for each operation, the \nmaximum value admitted of suspended solids for each class to grant the \nmaximum quality in working process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>W.M.T. has coded these result in the ST-1584 table <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The filter flow rate shall be determined regarding: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\nthe process liquid,\n<\/li><li>\nthe filter media permeability.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To determine the data shown in the table the following test condition has to be considered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\nthe sample of the liquid process is be taken on the machine.\n<\/li><li>\nthe table values are the medium one measured on samples taken before and after the filter index.\n<\/li><li>\nthe\n suspended solids concentration is been determined filtering each sample\n with calibrated nylon mesh of 5, 10, 20, 40, 60 e 100 \u00b5m not \nsequentially.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The values shown are the medium of 345 filtering system tested for more than one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What W.M.T. after these results suggest is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>&#8220;TALK ABOUT FILTER DEGREE !!&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><table style=\"width: 100%;\" cellspacing=\"0\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr><\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 10%;\" align=\"center\"><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 80%;\" align=\"center\"><div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background has-vivid-cyan-blue-background-color\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wmt.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ST-1584_A_en_a4.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">View the ST-1584 table<\/a><\/div><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 10%;\" align=\"center\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the industrial filtration process usually what is important is that the particles dimension present in the coolant are above a requested value without any questions on: its quantity, the quantity and dimension of the particles smaller than the requested value.
